Festiciel of St-Fulgence
September 4th to 6th 2010
The annual gathering of gliders in St-Fulgence, will transform into a family festival in 2010. Something new is planned!
The idea of Festiciel St-Fulgence came up following an annual meeting of provincial paragliding pilots who are over 20 years old in St-Fulgence. This was held over the September Labor Day weekend. The Zone Turbulence Saguenay Paragliding Club in collaboration with the municipality of St-Fulgence and Concept Air wishes to create a family festival that will color the sky of St-Fulgence with paragliding, kite traction and kite surfing actvities. Among the various other activities will be an introduction to tandem kite flying, entertainment for young people, a mascot, tasting of regional products, an artisan village, and you may visit the free flight interpretive center.... all projects that we hope to offer for the first edition of the Festiciel of St-Fulgence being held on September 4th, 5th and 6th, 2010 and for years to come to create an awesome annual village celebration and attract an increasing number of drivers.
Freestyle Attraction is now the largest gathering of winter traction kiting enthusiasts in Canada and one of the biggest events of its kind in North America.
This kite skiing event presents a dazzling show full of colour. The first "Freestyle Attraction" came to life in 1991 through the initiative of Concept Air Kites. In 2010, the "Freestyle Attraction” will host the 30th WISSA (World Ice and Snow Sailing Association) World Sailing Championships on Ice and is busy planning festivities and competitions which will take place over a period of 10 days.
The event takes place at La Baie des Ha Ha! on the Saguenay River. The geomorphology of the Saguenay Fjord in Quebec, Canada is a unique place in North America for kite skiing in winter. The sliding surface is exceptional and the wind, intensified by the fjord, is virtually always blowing. It is not surprising that the City of Saguenay is home to the largest club of wind sports activities in Canada!

Challenge Mishkumi
Du 8 au 10 mars 2012, Lac-saint-Jean
Le Challenge Mishkumi est une boucle de 150 km sur invitation seulemet pour l'édition 2012. Une douzaine de riders ont été invités à tester le tracé qui pemettra de faire le tour du Lac-Saint-Jean en trois jours.

It’s on the huge Lac-St-Jean at St-Gedeon’s municipal beach, that the 30th World Championship of sailing on ice and snow and the third round of the Quebec’s Cup will take place. The snow reports there are excellent and the weather forecast is fair. One could even daydream of crossing the lake…!
