Free Flight
Free Flight is a recreational sport, which does not require the use of an engine to execute flight. It is mainly achieved by hang gliding and paragliding. Takeoff can be achieved on foot from flat terrain or by winching from a flat surface.
Free Flight enables participants to view intense images, and makes it possible to experience man’s oldest dream of flying. Paragliding is also the perfect marriage of mature technology and environmental friendliness. This sport of rare beauty generates strong emotional charge with its audience.

It’s on the huge Lac-St-Jean at St-Gedeon’s municipal beach, that the 30th World Championship of sailing on ice and snow and the third round of the Quebec’s Cup will take place. The snow reports there are excellent and the weather forecast is fair. One could even daydream of crossing the lake…!
