Kite surfing
Kite surfing is a traction water sport, which consists of gliding on a small surfboard or a twin tip board (front and rear identical) towed by a power kite or wings. Most commonly used are wings which include four lines and are inflatable and some wings are now equipped with a fifth line that provides extra comfort and safety. The kite is attached to the pilot with a harness.
The sport has evolved over the past ten years and is currently booming. This activity, also considered as ''cool'' by the young enthusiasts, often gives rise to gatherings that offer a unique show: surfing the waves, jumping and acrobatics. Spectators can enjoy the beautiful showing of many sail and board colors found on the water as well as on the beach.
Athletes who practice this sport are surprisingly of various ages. There is something to please everyone, young and old. Kite surfer gatherings are friendly and attract the whole family as well as many curious spectators who take pleasure in watching the show, swimming and hanging out at the beach.
