Profile of company - History
In 2009, Concept Air, highly developed in their expertise, brought together organizations such as the Club de Kite Air Lib, the kite school Progression Kite as well numerous volunteers who are passionate about developing this wind sport. This group of enthusiasts then became known as Zone Turbulence, a non-profit organization whose mission it to promote wind sports such as kiting through organizing events.

Mission
To promote wind sports, such as traction kiting, paragliding, powered parachuting, sail boating and in general any other wind-powered movement and/or recreational activity. We achieve this by means of organizing events and carrying out projects related to the above sports.

Vision
Promote traction sports by supporting the efforts of existing organizations in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region
Objectives
2010-2011
- Establish Freestyle attraction as an annual international winter event
- Approach more potential partners to hold promotional activities for the sport (kite surfing, paragliding, powered parachuting, kite buggying, etc.)
2011-2012
- Find regular funding in order to sustain a permanent senior management team

It’s on the huge Lac-St-Jean at St-Gedeon’s municipal beach, that the 30th World Championship of sailing on ice and snow and the third round of the Quebec’s Cup will take place. The snow reports there are excellent and the weather forecast is fair. One could even daydream of crossing the lake…!
